Fixing the Load Error
Sorry—our update may have broken your old save file!
If you want to continue your current playthrough, follow the instructions to revert to the previous version.
We recommend switching to the latest version afterwards to experience the latest bug fixes and improvements.
1. Right click on the game title.
2. Click “Properties.”
3. Go to the “Betas” tab.
4. In the dropdown menu, select “2021version – 2021 version.”
5. The game will now revert back to the old version with your save intact.
*To update to the latest version again, simply switch back to "None."
